I had the honor to travel with research scientists involved in community outreach. With our different backgrounds we brainstormed the feasibility of low-cost retrofit kits that could make earth homes more rat-proof. Since a single bag of cement is too cost-prohibitive for the average family, problem-solving in such constrained contexts required exceptional creativity and thinking.
